Extended Features: • Height 80’ x 50’ Spread • Excellent shade tree. Fast growing, extremely durable. Deep tap root. Best all around large shade tree for southern Maryland. Long narrow leaves turn yellow in fall. Smaller thin leaves are easier to rake clean.
How To Maintain: Feed in March and November with Treetone. Re-mulch in November and June. Deep soak with Miracle-gro every 2 weeks the first two summers after planting. Limb-up lower branches over time to 6-7'. Spray with Horticultural Oil insecticide in March.
