Extended Features: • Height 6’ x 8’ Wide • Weeping, mounded, red laceleaf maple. Heat resistant. Delicate leaves maintain their deep purple-red color through the summer months turns scarlet in the fall.
How To Maintain: Remove dead tips after each winter. Remove suckers that sprout below the graft. Feed in March and November with Treetone. Re-mulch in November and June. Deep soak with Miracle-gro every 2 weeks the first two summers after planting. Limb-up lower branches over time to 6-7'. Spray with Horticultural Oil insecticide in March.
Interest: Dwarf weeping tree, very slow growing, holds red color well throughout the hot summers. Specimen plant.
