Musa basjoo, also known as Japanese banana, this beautiful tropical foliage has thick green stems with huge 6 foot long leaves. Yellow and orange flowers followed by small non-edible bananas emerge from the base of the leaves. Heavily mulch the clump in colder climates.

How To Maintain:
Water thoroughly about once a week. Keep up humidity. Put outdoors from May -September and feed with Peter's 20-20-20 every 2 weeks. Also feed slow-release Osmocote March 1st, May 1st, and July 1st. Spray with All-Season oil twice in September before bringing back inside for winter.
