Thrives in rich, well-drained soils. Makes a great specimen plant or can be planted in groups along borders, in beds or as an informal hedge. Spray with All-season Oil in May for insect control. Deep-soak with Vitamin B-1 fertilizer every 2 weeks for first 2 summers. Re-mulch in June and January
